Flirty Ruffles Shawl

The Flirty Ruffles Shawl is an elegant wrap featuring the very old and traditional Shetland lace knitting pattern "Print o' the Wave." The ruffles add an unexpected and flirty touch, and swirl enticingly as you move around.

This mostly stocking stitch shawl starts at the centre top. As you knit the beautiful wave pattern, the rows become longer until the ruffle is finished in a simple knit and purl stitch. The ruffle takes a bit of time, but makes for ideal TV watching! When you're finished, though, you'll want to be out showing off your shawl instead of watching TV.
