Charming

This pretty little top combines eyelet lace and twisted ribbing for a gently shaped, feminine look. The scoop neck and short sleeves make it ideal for summer days. Wear it over jeans or dress it up—either way you'll look fresh and charming!

Front and back are knit separately from the bottom up. Sleeves are worked, then all seams are sewn before the simple, garter stitch neckline is completed. Three small buttons add a pretty detail to the front. Charts make it easier to work garment shaping in lace. Recommended for Advanced Intermediate knitters.

Size 1: 34 inches – 6 balls
Size 2: 36 inches – 7 balls
Size 3: 38 inches – 7 balls
Size 4: 40 inches – 8 balls
Size 5: 42 inches – 8 balls
Size 6: 44 inches – 9 balls
Size 7: 46 inches – 9 balls

Needles:
• 3.5 mm (US 4);
• 3 mm (US 3) 24-inch circular needle;
• or sizes to obtain gauge

Other supplies:
three 15 mm (5/8-inch) buttons, stitch markers, 4 stitch holders, cable needle or short double-pointed needle, crochet hook

Gauge over lace pattern using larger needles, after blocking:
4 inches = 20 stitches and 31 rows
